It is difficult to fully ascertain how many data cabling installers exist within the UK, however it would be fair to say for every town, borough and city you could multiply the number of installers significantly.

In November 2013 the University of Liverpool had identified the need to upgrade it’s network infrastructure within the Life and Bio Science Buildings due to the condition of the existing infrastructure.

Network infrastructures are in a constant state of evolution, new technologies provides a continuous need for upgrades to existing infrastructure such as the installation of CAT6 / CAT6A network cabling to a School or Office environment.  This type of installation requirement provides the bread and butter for many data installation companies.
