New Smart Metre Charge Points!

In conjunction with the Companies ISO 14001 performance targets, NIS Ltd have recently had 2 x Smart Metre Charge Points installed at their Head Office Facility. This next step will assist the Company in minimising their Carbon Footprint. The installation was undertaken by utilising Government Schemes in place, such as the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). The Schemes are a movement to encourage the usage of Electric Vehicles by installing a Smart Metre Charge Point at your Home/Workplace. The installation of the Charge Points has had an immediate impact, as all Pool Cars used for attending Site Surveys, Meetings etc. are now Electric Vehicles. As the technology continues to develop, NIS Ltd will look to have all Fleet Vehicles become cleaner and more energy efficient.
