LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

Lancashire County Council is the fourth largest local authority in England and Wales with a population of 1.1 million and covering an area of 3,070 sq.km. The council’s IT systems are delivered via a Cisco based WAN linking several hundred sites with a server farm and firewalls located centrally at County Hall, Preston. Lancashire ICT Services specify, order, manage and support the installation of Cat5E and fibre optic cabling across all centrally funded Lancashire County Council buildings with WAN connections to the LCC network.
